Can it really make a difference? Psychologists say that 95-97% of the people in the world do NOT have written goals and fail, while the other 3-5% have DO have written goals and succeed. I thought it was silly, at first, but came to learn that setting
goals can be extremely motivating and a great activity to do with your
husband/family/partner. I like to set both short and long term goals – a few of each. Take 15-30 minutes and jot something down. The goals should be clear and specific - attach numbers and deadlines! Writing it down will help to re-introduce the thought to your brain more frequently. It increases your chances for actual performance! You can start with a short, quick list. Post the list in your line of view and revisit the document on a regular basis. Refine the list over
time. You can check back
daily, weekly, monthly….whatever works best for you. It does not need to be perfect! Just get started! For more information on Goal Setting, check out MyGoals.com “I find it fascinating that most people plan their vacations with better care than they plan their lives. ” |
